Ival Roy Tooley departed this life Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the age of 92. He was born June 10, 1927, at Twin Bridges Missouri to Chester and Myrtle (Collins) Tooley. On March 22, 1947, he married the love of his life, Erma Lee Collins. God blessed them with 70 years of marriage and three wonderful children.
Ival was a World War II veteran. He served in the Pacific Fleet.
At the age of 26, he gave his heart to the Lord, then God called him into the ministry and he served God faithfully for 66 years where he touched the lives of endless people throughout the area. He was a pioneer of the Pentecostal movement in southern Missouri where he started and pastored many churches.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Myrtle; his wife, Erma Lee; his son-in-law, Gary Wake; great-great-granddaughter, Phoenix Leann Tooley; and one brother, Wayne Tooley.
Ival is survived by one son, Kenneth (Beverly) Tooley; two daughters, Marilyn (David) McReynolds, and Connie Wake; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary chapel, Willow Springs, with visitation at 1:00 pm Saturday, prior to the service. Interment will be in the Willow Springs City Cemetery.

Funeral services for Erma Lee Tooley, 88, of Willow Springs, Missouri will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri
An angel winged her way to Heaven on Friday, September 15, 2017 while at Cox Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri. She was born June 17, 1929 in Flat Rock, Missouri, the daughter of Haywood and Rosetta (Briscoe) Collins.
Erma loved to piece quilts and to give them away. Shopping and talking were her favorite pastimes. She talked with strangers, family, friends, and anyone that would listen, but never ended a conversation without asking the person if they knew God and telling them to “get right” if they didn’t.
Erma’s family was her life. She prayed, cried, and laughed with them and tried to piece together their lives when they were broken. Most of all, she loved Jesus, and never failed to tell people what He had done for her.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 71 years, Ival Tooley, of the home; three children, Kenneth and Bev Tooley, Marilyn and David McReynolds, and Connie and Gary Wake, all of Willow Springs, MO; six grandchildren, Michael, Jeffery, Scotty, Cricket, Brooke, and Celia and spouses; one brother, Thurman Collins of Parma, ID; eleven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and soon-to-come Graceyn Erma.
Her parents, seven sisters, four brothers, and one great great grandchild precede her in death.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. just prior to the funeral service at Yarber Mortuary. Interment will be in Willow Springs City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
