Mrs. Genevieve Holly, 85, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at Jacksonville, Ill.
Born January 22, 1910 at Caruthersville, Mo., Mrs. Holly was the daughter of the late Peter A. Coleman and Fannie Wallace Coleman.
She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Steele, Mo.
Mrs. Holly leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Joe Byron and Judy Holly, of Holland, Mo.; One daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Burdine, of Jacksonville; Five grandchildren: Holly Burdine of Phoenix, Ariz., Vikki Burdine and Nicole Burdine Vaniter, both of Jacksonville, Joe Byron Holly III of Steele, and Tracy Holly Maness of Gladewater, Texas; and Three great-grandchildren: Jamie Lee Burdine, Betty Jo Maness, and Ashley Dawn Maness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Holly were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 1995, at Wesley Menmorial United Methodist Church in Steele with Rev. Tom Zych officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Joe Byron Holly, Byron Holly, Robert Burdine, Pinnell Capehart, Tim Maness, and Thor Capehart.
