Graveside services for Marie Elaine Tripp, 73, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tripp passed away at 10:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born May 17, 1944, at Waukegan, Illinois, to Harold Yearout and Florence Buksas Yearout. On September 7, 1964, she was married at Waukegan, Illinois, to Wilbur Floyd “Bill” Tripp, who preceded her in death on June 10, 2006. Before her retirement, Mrs. Tripp worked for eighteen years at Dairy Princess Maid-rite. She loved her family and grandkids and enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, slots and yard sales.
She is survived by three children, Bill Tripp, Jr., and wife, Andy, Tom Tripp and wife, Debbie Kay and Debbie Buehler and husband, Mike, all of West Plains; four grandchildren, Tiffanie Bryant, Thomas Tripp, Logan Buehler and Morgan Buehler; two great-grandchildren, Roxie Bryant and April Tripp; one sister, Cathy Roberson and husband, Earl, Zion, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Linda Yearout; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, and one brother, Gerald Yearout, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heaven’s Creatures and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
