Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Kelley, 92, were held Wednesday, May 16, at The John W. German Funeral Home in Steele. The Rev. Jim Doyle officiated.
Mrs. Kelley was born June 29, 1891 in Union City, Tennessee, and died May 14, 1984, at Dunklin County Memorial Hospital in Kennett.
Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and in her early years, taught school.
She was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Frances Fitzpatrick Moore.
She was united in marriage to Fred L. Kelley at Obion, Tennessee on October 27, 1920. Mr. Kelley preceded her in death August 16, 1974. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dal Moore Kelley, in December 1922.
She leaves two sons, Fred L. Kelley of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Charles Kelley of Steele; One granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Murphy of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; And three great-granddaughters, Beth, Kate and Fran Murphy of Ocean Springs.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
