Thursday, October 18, 1979:
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Flora Kelley on Sunday, October 14, 1979 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Roy Handley officiated.
Mrs. Kelley was born July 17, 1900 in Kentucky and died October 12, 1979 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 79.
She leaves her husband, Fred R. Kelley, of the home; one daughter, Glenda Jumper of Steele; three sons, Woodrow Kelley and Harvey Kelley, both of Steele and Harley Kelley of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Ardie Brown of Steele and Billy Brown of Memphis; four sisters, Bertha Moyer of Caruthersville, Ada Osborn and Beatrice Johnson, both of Memphis, and Jackie Welch of Bermuda Islands; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Billy Mack and Fred Kelley, Jr. preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Charles Jumper, Perry Jumper, Orville Vaughn, Freddie Kelley, Bobby Jumper, and Jerry Blankenship.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Fred R. Kelley were held Saturday, May 16, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. James F. McCrary officiated.
Mr. Kelley was born December 1, 1900 at Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, and died May 14, 1981 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. He was 80.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Glenda Jumper, of Steele; three sons: Woodrow and Harvey Kelley, both of Steele and Harley Kelley, of Clearwater, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Freddie Mike Kelley, Frankie Jumper, Perry Jumper, Charles Jumper, Bobby Jumper, and J.B. Cunningham.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
