Thursday, January 6, 1972:
Mrs. Elsie Robinson of Caruthersville died December 31, 1971, at the Doctors Hospital in Blytheville at the age of 54.
She was born in Waverly, Tenn. March 18, 1917.
Mrs. Robinson and husband owned and operated Robinson Store at McCarty.
Services were held January 3, 1972 at the Original German Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. A.C. Gardner officiating. Mrs. George Cooke was the soloist and Mrs. Bethel Lester the organist.
She leaves her husband, Charlie Robinson; one son, Bob James Robinson, Caruthersville; her mother, Mrs. Susie Inmon, Micola; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Bowling, Caruthersville; and two brothers, Fred Inmon, Micola and Ed Inmon, Blytheville.
Pallbearers were Bob Carlisle, Fred Franklin, Bowen Travis, Frank Inmon, Aubry Bolin, Billy Inmon.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Original German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
