Friday, September 1, 1950:
Funeral services were held Thursday morning, August 24, 1950 at the Dean Chapel in Benton Harbor, Michigan, for Mrs. Lillie Levanner Price, who died at the Berrien County Hospital, Berrien Center, Michigan. She had suffered ill health for the past five years and had been confined to bed at the hospital.
The Rev. Guy Walsh of the Benton Harbor Tabernacle officiated at the rites, and Mrs. H.W. Fowler, of Benton Harbor, was the organist.
Mrs. Price was born in Tennessee on July 11, 1880. In August 1895 she married Joseph Robert Price of Waynesboro, Ten., who died in 1930. Five children survive. They are James Price, Mrs. Vannie Guffey, Henry Richard Price and John D. Price, all of Benton Harbor and Robert Price of Holland, Mo. Survivors also include a brother, Welch Williams, of Corinth, Miss., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Price had lived in this vicinity for six years and was a member of the Holiness Church.
Burial was in the Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge.
