Alma May Ramsey, 85, passed from this life March 1, 2018, in her home, West Plains.
Alma was born March 3, 1933, at Pottersville, to Finis and Nancy (Cochran) McAmis.
On June 16, 1950, Alma was married to Carl (Mike) Sloan Ramsey in Pottersville. To this union four children were born, Jerry, Phyllis, Michael and Patricia.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry and Michael Ramsey, West Plains, and a daughter Patricia Hall, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Ramsey) Murphy, Sun City, Ariz., and Kayla Hall, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two great grandchildren, Madison and Christopher Murphy of Sun City, Ariz.; one sister, Elizabeth Collins, West Plains; two brothers, Bill McAmis and wife Blessie, Sullivan, and Bobbie McAmis and wife Judy, of West Plains, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Phyllis Ramsey; grandson Allen Hall; son-in-law Michael Hall; daughter-in-law Frances Bankson Ramsey and two brothers, Ray McAmis and Roy McAmis; two sisters-in-law Freda (Wood) McAmis and Sandra (Rogalski) McAmis.
Funeral services for Alma May Ramsey will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
