Max Ray Langley, 79, Aurora, Missouri was born August 8, 1933 in Hurley, Missouri to William Dutton and Irene Springer Langley and departed this life Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Cox Branson, Branson Missouri.

Max had served in the United State Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars, he retired from the Air Force after 21 years obtaining the rank Master Sergeant. After returning to Missouri, Max studied computers at Dury College and had become an Over-the-Road truck driver for which he drove for over 20 years.

On October 4, 1952 Max was united in marriage to Charlene Andrus Langley and she survives in the home; other survivors include; three sons, Ben of Aurora, Michael and wife Kelly of Marionville, Missouri and Sean of Republic; two brothers, Carl Langley and wife Maxine of Berryville, Arkansas and Kay Langley and wife Ima Mae of Hurley; three grandchildren, Makala, Adam and Gaylene, other relative and friends.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and four sons, Brian, Kevin, Gene and Dean.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 till service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Short Cemetery, Hurley under the care of Westrip Funeral Home. Published in the News-Leader on April 19, 2013.

Charlene Langley was born March 6, 1932 at Crane, Missouri to Floyd and Gertrude Ash Andrus and departed this life December 3, 2016 in her home in Aurora, Missouri.
On October 4, 1952, she married Max Ray Langley and he preceded her in death. She had been a lifelong resident of the area, except when she and her husband were stationed in different places during his service in the military. Charlene was a great cook and loved to be in her yard gardening. She loved to fish, go to casinos and travel with her husband.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four sons, Brian, Kevin, Gene and Dean and sister, Betty Flack. Survivors include three sons, Ben Langley, of Aurora; Michael Langley and wife, Kelly, of Marionville, Missouri; and Sean Langley of Republic, Missouri; five sisters, Earnestine Tacker, of Aurora, Lela Bishop of Nixa, Missouri, Shirley Thomas, of Crane, Missouri, Carolyn Andrus of Crane, and Linda Hulse and husband, Tom, of Sedalia, Missouri; a brother, J. L. Andrus, and wife, Judy, of Crane; three grandchildren, Makala, Adam, and Gaylynne; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Burial will be at Short Cemetery, Hurley, Missouri.
