Bobby J. Battles, age 82, of Steele, Missouri, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at NEA Baptist in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Born to Elmer and Rubena Frazer Battles, at Armorel, Arkansas.
He had been a lifelong resident and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Bobby was a Farmer who loved to work.
His parents and one brother, Jerry Battles preceded him in death.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Marlene Frazer Battles of the home; children, Linda Crawford and her husband Jim of Steele, Missouri, Brenda Allard and her husband Joe of Steele, Missouri; brother, Elmer Battles and his wife Joyce of Dexter, Missouri; sister, Peggy Sutton of Luxora, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kim Corkran and husband Matthew of Higginson, Arkansas; grandsons, Keith Allard of Hollister, Missouri, Kyle Crawford of Steele, Missouri, Dustin Crawford and his wife Autumn of Steele, Missouri and great granddaughters, Bethany, Jordan and Hannah Corkran and Molly Crawford.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri. Cobb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
