George PACK

Far West aka Farwest Cemetery
Caldwell County,
Missouri

Nothing remains of the cemetery. The headstones were removed and used in buildings or were plowed under. Purportedly, there were as many as 200 burials. Per the source of record listed at the bottom of this page, Bertha Booth recorded some of the names from the cemetery. It is unknown if there are any additional records. If you have any additional information, please email me. It is a shame that the information for so many pioneers for Caldwell Co Mo are gone forever.

The 4 recorded burials were purportedly either died during the Battle of Crooked River on 24 Oct 1838, or later died from their wounds received in that battle. Please Google this for more information.
