Daughter of Albert Lee & Mary Elsie (Barnett) Dean.

Mary Jeanette (Dean) Norvell 76 of Monett went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2016, after a short illness.

She was born September 12, 1939, to Albert Lee Dean and Mary Elsie (Barnett) Dean at home in Hurley, MO. She was the youngest of 9 children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Edwin Dean, Freddie Dean, Wanda (Dean) Hicks, Bob Dean, Donald Dean, Jerry Dean; husbands, Al Higgins, and Paul Norvell; and great-grandson, Cooper Mercer.

She is survived by one sister, Betty Ann (Dean) Giles of Peoria, Illinois and one brother, Paul Dean and wife Edna of Republic, MO. She is also survived by her children, Terri (Pearce) Lucas and husband Kevin of Rogersville, MO, Stan Pearce and wife Mendy of Monett, Susan Pearce of Monett, Gary Pearce of Joplin, MO, Glenda (Norvell) Gunter and husband Terry of Monett, Deana (Norvell) Hughes and husband Doug of Wheaton, MO, Doug Norvell and wife Jan of Monett, and Ken Norvell of Kansas City, MO. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 7:00 P.M., in the Monett Community Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
