Karen Ruth (Martin) Arganbright, departed this life December 28, 1998 in St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, ILL. at the age of 50 years, two months, and 29 days. She was the daughter of Lee Martin, and Nellie (Clevenger) Martin, born September 29, 1948 in Springfield, Mo. Karen had been a resident of Galesburg, ILL. for the past 8 years, formerly of Billings, Mo. She was an insurance billing clerk for Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, ILL. Karen was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband, Bruce Arganbright of Galesburg, ILL.; four sons, Marcus Todd Arganbright of Kansas City, Mo., Jason Lee Arganbright of Pensacola, Fla., Dane Michael Arganbright of San Diego, Calif and Jesse Charles Arganbright of the home; her parents, Lee and Nellie Martin of Crane, Mo; three brothers, Charles Martin of Wichita, Kan., Randy Martin of Blackfoot, Idaho and Dennis Martin of Springfield, Mo.; three sisters, Edna Mayne of Crane, Mo., Margaret Kasinger of Billings, Mo. and Jeannie Stapp of Neosho, Mo.; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 1, 1999 in Manlove Stumpff Chapel with David Johnson officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Crane, under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at the Stone County National Bank, P.O. Box 402, Crane, Mo. 65633.
