Barbara J. Ellis, Crane, MO, daughter of Ralph and Della (Meadows) Eaton was born July 10, 1942 in Stone County, MO and departed this life October 10, 2010 in Ozark Mountain Regional Healthcare Center, Crane, MO, at the age of 68.
Barbara was a retired secretary and a lifelong resident of the area. She was united in marriage to Ronald Ellis on April 10, 2009. Barbara loved sewing and enjoyed arts and crafts. She belonged to a number of local sewing and quilting clubs. Barbara made homemade crafts for family and friends throughout the year, especially at Christmas.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Eaton; maternal grandparents, Henry and Elsie Meadows and paternal grandparents, William and Martha Eaton.
Survivors include: her husband, Ronald Ellis of the home; mother, Della Eaton of Republic; one son, Vince Williams and wife, Karla of Crane; daughter, Lesa King of Crane; three sisters, Betty Mills, Brenda Williams and Beryl Griffin; four grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Amber Williams, Aaron Williams and Williams (Will) King and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, Crane with Wayne Blades officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Crane under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Homes.
