Cassville Republican, September 5, 1901 - Obituary: Died, August 9, after six weeks of patient suffering, Grandma McIntosh, age 79 years and 2 months, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. W. McComas, near Purdy. Grandma was born in England, her maiden name being Bradwell. She came to Pittsburg, Penn., when eight years of age and was the oldest of ten children, all of whom have preceded her. She was married to James McIntosh, Sept. 22, 1842, and nine children were born to them, seven of who are living. They moved to Missouri, 30 Years ago, and 16 years ago her husband departed this life. She professed faith in Christ when thirteen years of age and has been a faithful worker of the Master's vineyard since.
