ELMER M. VANGILDER
Elmer M. Vangilder, 68, 710 East Harrison, died last night in St. John's Hospital following a lingering illness.

He was a retired Buffalo grocer and was a member of Buffalo Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Alice; a daughter, Mrs. A;va Stafford, 303 West Sunshine; a son, Harold, Pine Bluff, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Harold Johnson, 732 West Pershing; a brother, Ray, Buffalo; two grandchildren.

L.B. Jones, Buffalo will be in charge of arrangements.

MRS. ALICE VANGILDER
BUFFALO-- Mrs. Bertha Alice Vangilder, 68, a resident of Pine Bluff, Ark. for the last eight months, died Thursday night in Jefferson Hospital in Pine Bluff, following a short illness.

A former resident of Springfield and Buffalo, Mrs. Vangilder was a member of Lakeside Methodist Church at Pine Bluff.

Survivors include a son, Harold M., Pine Bluff; a daughter, Mrs. Alva Stafford, Springfield; two brothers, Albert Lambeth, Marionville, and Billy Lambeth, U.S. Navy in Florida; five sisters, Mrs. Juanita Whitney, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Irene Patten, Buffalo, Mrs. Wilma Arnold, Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Lillian Alexander, Reeds Spring, and Mrs. Phyllis Jeffery, Kansas City; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Buffalo Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Arbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Church Grove Cemetery south of Buffalo under direction of Jones-Cantlon of Buffalo.
