Joshua Sterling GARDNER

Howell Memorial Park Cemetery
Howell County,
Missouri

Joshua Sterling Gardner passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 19, 2018, at the age of 31.
Joshua was a kind-hearted man, loving son, brother and trusted friend. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, all things firearms and steak so rare it still moo-ed.
He was genuine to a fault, hardworking and devoted to those he cared for. He was meticulous, always willing to tell you like it was (whether you wanted to hear it or not) and had a knack for sarcasm and wit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory D. Gardner; his grandparents, Charles H. Elmore II, Dr. S. E. and Joyce Gardner; and infant cousin, Sarah J. Roberts.
He is survived by his mother, Janet and husband John F. Armitage; his sister, stepbrothers and his grandmother. He will lovingly be remembered by his immediate and extended family and his dear friends.
A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
His burial will follow directly after the service in West Plains, where he will be laid to rest at 2:30 p.m. beside his father in Howell Memorial Cemetery, Pomona.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joshua can be made to Spokane R-7 School District. [West Plains Daily Quill, 21 Nov 2018]
