Obit - Mrs. Emma Jane Moudy, 81, rural Purdy, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Moudy was born Aug. 15, 1884, at Hampton, Neb. She had lived in Purdy most of her life and was a member of the Log Church, near Purdy. She and her husband, A.M. Moudy, had been married 62 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Ernest, Cassville, Leslie, Riverside, California, and William, Monett; five daughters, Mrs. Erval Nickle and Mrs. Manford Terry, both of Purdy; Mrs. Loren Ash, Ava, Mo.; Mrs. Albert Dugan, Salinas, Calif., and Mrs. William Patton, Monett; a brother, Frank Hazelwood, Granby; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Moudy, Butterfield, Mo., and Misses Jewell and Ida Hazelwood, both of Cassville; 42 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Log Church. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery near Cassville.

Obit: - Anderson Monroe Moudy son of Silas and Martha (Roller) Moudy, was born on October 7, 1880 at Seligman, Mo., and departed from this life on October 8, 1970 at his home in Purdy, Mo., at the age of 90 years and 1 day. On November 18, 1903, he was united in marriage with Emma Jane Hazelwood, who preceded him in death. To this union were born ten children, two of them (Flora and Richard Elree) preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing, three sons and five daughters; 42 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Brother Moudy was a member of the Church of God Holiness congregation at the Log Church, and was faithful to the church so long as the condition of his health permitted. He will always be remembered by his prayers and testimonies. He supported the cause of true Bible holiness and though he was not able to come under the tabernacle for the camp meeting in July, 1970, his son brought him, and he enjoyed the service while sitting in the car. His funeral service was conducted by the writer on October 11 at Log Church, using as a text Rev. 14:6-13. Interment was made in Russell Cemetery.
