Kathleen Hilburn
Mrs. Hilburn was the daughter of Velma Cochran and Frank Wear. She attended elementary school at Jefferson Elementary in Joplin, and later attended Wheaton High School. In 1947, at age 15, she married George Coffey. To that union 3 kids were born: Bruce, Don, and Susan. On 23 Dec 1980 she married Clifford Hilburn. She was employed in various occupations during the years including Jumping Jacks, Fastrip, Walmart, & waitressing in the Eagle Rock area where she met her special friend of 14 years David Turner. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, making baby quilts, and giving what she made to others. She was a volunteer for Grandma's House and a member of the Roaring River Baptist Church.

Survivors include kids: Don with wife Ronda, Susan Sorenson with husband­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Donny, and step-daughter Connie Lansdown; sister Billie Morse; companion David Turner; grand kids: Kellie Turner, Jana Babst, Brandy Hobson, Casey Hemmelback, Jason, Joey, Becky, and Brian Coffey, Jeff, Toby, and Mitch Sorensen, Jeff and Doug Reed; 44 great grand kids with 1 on the way; plus several nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
