SELIGMAN, Mo. - Don Douglas "Doug" McCasland, III, age 51, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at his home. He was born April 2, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Don Douglas McCasland, Jr. and Pamela (Sallinger) McCasland.
On Nov. 14, 2016, he was united in marriage to Sherri Bray, who survives. Also surviving are his father, Don Douglas McCasland, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandmother, Nadine McCasland of Seligman, Mo.; two sons, Deryk Godsey and his wife Patsy of Seligman, Mo., and Colton Douglas McCasland of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Brooke Boles and her husband Martin of Rogers, Ark.; three step-daughters, Katie Cook and her husband Brandon of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Emily Henry and Shelby Dean, both of Seligman, Mo.; two sisters, Michelle McCasland of Berryville, Ark., and Misty McCasland of Rogers, Ark., and three grandchildren, Braden, Hudsyn and Myah Boles.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Pamela McCasland and grandfather, Don Douglas McCasland Sr.
Doug was a graduate of Southwest High School at Washburn, Mo.
He worked with his family in construction prior to working for Central Glass. He then started his own business, Precision Glass and Mirror. As a young man, he attended Seligman First Baptist Church.
Some of his favorite pastimes were riding motorcycles, Enduro Racing and he loved guns.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Seligman under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo. Pastor Bob Scott will conduct the services.
Burial will be in Seligman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Contributions may be made to BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) in memory of Doug. Visit www.fohnfuneralhome.com for online obituaries, guestbook and private condolences.
