Mrs. Fannie Morgan died at the home of her father, Philip Beecher of Pettis township, last Saturday morning. Five years ago she went to Wyoming with her husband, who was afflicted with consumption. Constant care and attention to her husband undermined her health, and a few weeks ago she returned to the home of her father in the last stage of consumption. Her health seemed to improve after her return, and hope was entertained for her recovery. But death came suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday morning while she was sitting in a chair by the fire. Burial took place Monday morning in Millard cemetery.
