Estella Hanna, 84, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away in her home on March 26, 2016, after battling leukemia. She was born on February 12, 1932 near Houston, MO the daughter of the late Homer and Florence (Parker) Vandivort.
Estella was active in her church throughout her life. She served as clerk and assistant treasurer for 25 years. She was a Sunday school teacher, led the Food Committee and served multiple in numerous board positions as a member of the Women's Auxiliary. Estella's most recent accomplishment was serving eight years as the president of the United Methodist Women's organization.
She was also active in the Cabool community. She served on the Community Betterment Board for a number of years. Estella was also an active member of the Cabool Library Board for 15 years and helped plan and carry out multiple fund raising efforts in the realization of a better library for Cabool residents.
Estella is survived by her husband of 63 years, Stanley; her son, Michael and her daughter-in-law, Pamela. She is also survived by two brothers and their spouses, Norman and Lois Vandivort and Bill and Sharon Vandivort of Houston, Missouri; as well as a host of other family members and close friends remaining. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. [egcfuneralhome.com]

Stanley Hanna, 86, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away on February 27, 2019, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, following a recent decline in health. He was born in Waynoka, Oklahoma, on July 23, 1932, son of the late Doil and Geneva (Gilstrap) Hanna.
Stanley grew up in Canadian, Texas, with his parents and siblings and joined the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He received an honorable discharge from the military after his father suffered a heart attack and he needed to help his parents with their family farm near Houston, Missouri.
This was where he met Estella Vandivort, the cute red-headed girl next door. They married and enjoyed 63 loving years together before her death in 2016. After living in the St. Louis, Missouri, and El Paso, Texas, areas, Stanley and Estella settled in Cabool, Missouri, during the 1960s. They adopted a son, Michael, in 1967.
Stanley and his brother, Jack, owned and operated a commercial and residential plumbing company for a number of years before he completed his work career at the Dairy Farmers of America facility in Cabool. He served on the Cabool City Council and was an active member in his church until his death.
Stanley is survived by his son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Pamela; two sisters, Naomi Rountree of Littlefield, Texas, and Martha Sparling of Springfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews and many close friends. [egcfuneralhome.com]
