W. T. TUGGLE
---W. T. Tuggle was stricken with paralysis at 8 p.m. Saturday and little hope was entertained for his recovery from the first. He was at the home of his son, Wayne, in east La Plata, and was to have left early next Tuesday morning for his new home in Cameron, Missouri. Mrs. Tuggle and daughter had driven to Cameron to prepare for his coming, Mr. Tuggle being to ill to assist in moving preparations. He died at 8 p.m. Thursday, September 5.
---William Thomas Tuggle was born in Shelby County, Missouri October 27, 1856. He was married December 25, 1890 to Mary A.E. Sublett of Knox County who preceded him in death a few years ago. To this union were born two children, J. Wayne Tuggle and Leda Opal, wife of George Archer, both of whom live in La Plata.
---On August 14, 1926, he was married to Mrs. Dan B. Cooper of Cameron, Missouri who survives him.
---Besides his wife and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tuggle and Mr. and Mrs. George Archer and his grandson, Clifford Russell Archer, he is also survived by his step-children, Goldie Marie Cooper and Charles Cooper of Cameron, L.W. Cooper and Mrs. Lulu Jones of St. Joseph, Missouri and two step grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers, Eugene Tuggle of Shelbyville, Dixie Tuggle of Leonard and Ed Tuggle of the state of Michigan, and one sister, Mrs. George Larentz of Shelbina.
---Mr. Tuggle has lived in La Plata the past twenty years and he has many friends who unite in sympathy with the bereaved family.
---Funeral services will be held Sunday.

---Mrs. W. T. Tuggle who has lived in La Plata for a number of years, died at ther home about 10:00 Tuesday morning. Mrs. Tuggle had suffered three or four strokes of paralysis, the last one about nine years ago, Being bedfast most of the time.
---Mrs. Tuggle was one of the highest type accommodating, upright in all her dealings, a friend to every one and a person who had a smile and a kind word for everybody.
---Mrs. Tuggle was born January 29, 1867. She leaves to mourn her departure, Her husband, one son, Wayne, of the home, one daughter, Mrs. George Archer. Also a little grandson, Clifford Russel; one sister, Mrs. Warner Hanks of the Wilsontown neighborhood and many friends.
---Funeral services were held from the home this morning at 10:00, conducted by Rev. J. L. shoemaker, pastor of the Christian Church.

Mary A. E. Sublett, daughter of Jordon and Mary Sublett, was born January 29, 1887 in Hunnewell, Marion County, Missouri, after an illness of nineteen months, died at her home in La Plata, Missouri, September, 23, 1925, at the age of fifty-eight years, seven months and twenty-tw- days.
---She was united in marriage to W. T. Tuggle December 25, 1890. To this union were born two children, Leda Opal and Joseph Wayne.
---She united with the Christian Church at Star and was baptized by Elder J.W. Kinter in 1904. Upon moving to La Plata in 1910, her membership was transferred to the La Plata Christian Church.
---She leaves to mourn her departure, a devoted husband, W.T. Tuggle, the daughter, Leda Opal Archer, the son, Joseph Wayne, one grandchild, Clifford Wayne Russell, one sister, Mrs. Warner Hanks.
---Funeral services were held at the family home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. J.L. Shoemaker, pastor of the Christian Church of La Plata. The remains were taken to Wilsontown and placed by the side of her father who had preceded her in death several years ago.
