Funeral services were held Friday, January 12, 1968 at the Cooter Baptist Church for Marion Luther Parham, 84, who died last Wednesday. The Rev. Joe Smith officiated. Mr. Parham was a retired farmer.
He leaves three daughters: Mrs. Pauline Isabell of Dyersburg, Tenn.; Mrs. Lavern Morris of Cooter; and Mrs Bessie Parks of Kennett; seven sons: William and Jimmie Parham of Cooter; George Parham of Albuquerque, N.M.; Carl Parham of Hialeah, Fla.; Earl Parham of Greenway, Ark.; Emerson Parham of Danville, Va.; and Henry Parham of Atlanta, Ga. Also: 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Burial was at Number 8 Cemetery with the German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
