Jacob Conkle, well and favorably known in this county, died at his home in this place, on Friday the 22st, in the 77th year of his age. His good wife and three sons with their families survive him and faithfully ministered to his wants during his lingering sickness and until his demise took place. The funeral was conducted by Rev. St. Clair.

An Old Citizen Gone.
On Friday the 22 inst, Jacob Conkle died at his home in Brashear, aged 75 years, 11 months and 24 days. He had been a great sufferer for many years, and death was a welcome messenger to him. He leaves a widow, three sons and many grandchildren and friends to mourn and cherish his memory.
The writer conducted the funeral service at the family residence in the presence of a large company.
