MRS. ELIZA A. HINES, 74, DIES AT BRASHEAR

Brashear, Mo., Jan. 6. — Mrs. Eliza A Hines, wife of R.M. (Mitch) Hines, died at the family home in Brashear Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the age of 74 years. She had been in failing health the past two years, and had been confined to her bed the past two weeks with creeping paralysis.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist Church in Brashear, conducted by the Rev. L.L. Gaither. Burial took place in the Brashear Cemetery.
Mrs. Hines was the daughter of John R. and Anna Hendricks Thrasher, and was born near Brashear, Jan. 1, 1862. She was married Sept. 3, 1885, to R.M. (Robert M Hines "Mitch") Hines. No children were born to this marriage. Mrs. Hines lived her entire life in the Brashear vicinity. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Nancy Sartor, of College Mound, Mo., and one brother, Dan H. Thrasher, of Monrovia, Calif. Mrs. Anna L. Schwartz, of Edina, superintendent of Knox County schools, is a niece.
Mrs. Hines was a member of the Brashear Methodist Church, having united with the church sixty years ago.
