Mary Ethel Kelley, 82, of Gibbs died at 1:03 Monday afternoon NOvember 26, 984 in Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital.
The daughter of Frank and Minnie Spangler Watson, she was born July 31, 1902 in Adair County. On Septemner 23, 1920 she was married to Orval F. Kelley who preceded her in death on December 16, 1982. Also preceding her in death were one son, Clarence Lee Kelley on November 24, 1980 aon one sister, Jeanette Mauck.
Surviving are one son, Lloyd Kelley of Gibbs; one daughter, Dr. Mary Bruns of St. Louis; one sister, Edith Houghton of LaPlata; thre grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Mrs. Kelley spent most of her lifein the Wilson township community near Gibbs.
She was a member of the Gibbs Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Wednesday afternoon November 28, 1984 in Hudson-Rimer Park View Chapel, Kirksville. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services. Musical selections will be "Whispering Hope" and "In The Garden". Burial will be in the Union Cemetery at Gibbs.
Bearers will be Jim Stribling, Wilson Stribling, A.T. Sykes, Gary Moyers, Randy Watson and Russell L. Watson.
