Mrs. Fannie May Boone, 86, of Gibbs, died in a Kirksville hospital Sunday about noon. She has been in failing health for several months.

Funeral services will be held at the Summers & Powell Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Rev. F.P. Hanes. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at Gibbs.

Mrs. Boone, the former Fannie May Elmore was born Dec. 31, 1869 in Gibbs. She was married to Clarence E. Reyner in 1892. Mr. Reyner died in February, 1919. February 18, 1923 she was married to Sherman Boone.

Surviving her are her husband, one son, Floyd A. Reyner, and a granddaughter Carla Floy, both of Chicago; two brothers, Bert Elmore, of Sublette and James Elmore, of Coffeyville, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Lola Hicks, of Kirksville, Mrs. Grace Musick, of Santa Ana, Calif. and Mrs. Jettie Calef, of Kirksville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Powell, and Mrs. Nora Davis; two brothers, Ed and Arlie Elmore.

Mrs. Boone was a member of the Methodist Church at Gibbs for a number of years.

The body will lie in state at the Summers & Powell Funeral Home. The pallbearers will be Chas. F. Taylor, Terry Elmore, Junior Davison, Russell Elmore, George Longwith and Marvin Sangster.
