TICE YOUNG, 49, DIES SUDDENLY AT HANNIBAL

Former Resident of Greentop Suffers Heart Attack

Tice Young, 49, of Hannibal, formerly of Greentop, died of a heart attack at his home in Hannibal this morning at five o'clock. He suffered the attack at 4:20.

Funeral arrangements were not available at press time but will be announced later.

He was the son of W.L. and Lucy A. (Tice) Young and was born Nov. 28, 1895, at Greentop. He was married to Louise Sewell. No children were born to them.

Surviving are his wife; his aged father; three brothers, James F. of Greentop, J.E., of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Charles W., of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Lucy, of Greentop, and several nieces and nephews.

His mother and one brother, George L. Young, preceded him in death.

Tice Young Funeral Saturday in Hannibal

Funeral services for Tice Young, who died suddenly at his home in Hannibal early Thursday morning, will be held at the First Christian church in Hannibal Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. The body will be brought to Greentop and interment will be in the Greentop cemetery that afternoon.

The body will lie in state from three to four o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Greentop Methodist church.

Mr. Young was a member of the First Christian church in Hannibal and was one of the official board. He was also a member of the Kirksville Lodge No. 105 A.F. & A.M., the Hannibal Lodge No. 1198, B.P.O.E. and the Hannibal Optimist club of which he was a past president.
