Mrs. Grace B. Wimberley was born February 10, 1914 at Friendship, Tennessee and died December 10, 1985 at River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele, Missouri. She was 71.
Mrs. Wimberley was the daughter of the late Columbus A. VanDyke and Mittie E. Bivens VanDyke.
She was united in marriage to James B. Wimberley at Cooter, Missouri October 24, 1933. Mr. Wimberley preceded her in death December 15, 1984.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 13, 1985 at 10 am at the John W. German Funeral Home chapel with Rev. James Doyle officiating.
She leaves a son, Gerald Wimberley of Mira Loma, California; a sister, Mrs. Euna Gilliland of Cooter, Missouri;
And three grandchildren - Vickie, Carl and Kurt Wimberley of Mira Loma, California.
Burial was in the No. 8 Cemetery near Cooter, Missouri, with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele, Missouri in charge.

James B. Wimberley, 77, of Steele, died Dec. 15 at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. Born Oct. 5, 1907 in Camden, Tenn., he was the son of James Cain Wimberley and Ida Holland Wimberley. He was a former Cooter resident who moved to Steele recently from California. He was retired welder-machinist, a Mason and a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Bernadette Wimberley of Steele; One son, Gerald B. Wimberley of Riverside, Calif.; One brother, James Earl Wimberley of Hayti; And three grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
Services were Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. at Wesleyan Memorial United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jim Doyle officiating, with burial in Number Eight Cemetery, John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Members of the Steele Masonic Lodge served as pallbearers.
