William P. Weatherman, 82, died Sunday at the home of his son, E. L. Weatherman, at Walnut Shade, Mo. Mr. Weatherman was born and raised on a farm near the one on which he died. For several years he operated a farm near Branson, later living in Springfield at 801 South Newton avenue.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, 82; two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Thursby, Kansas City; four sons, E. L., Walnut shade, Harry, Luna and Rufus, Springfield; three brothers, Oscar, of Harrison, Ark., A. L. of Rich Hill, and Sam of Kansas City; 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the family cemetery at Walnut Shade.
