GLADYS OMEGA THOMAS, 107, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Indian Hills Retirement Center, Chillicothe, Mo.
Gladys was born Oct. 10, 1901, the daughter of Jacob W. and Minnie (Johns) Stillabower. She married Guy Robert Cox on January 11, 1930 in Chillicothe, Mo. Following their divorce, she married Eldon Wayne Thomas in Chillicothe, Mo., on Oct. 12, 1952. He preceded her in death in Feb. 2002.
She was a 1919 graduate of Golden City High School, Golden City, Mo.
She is survived by a stepson, Lawrence Dean Thomas, Clearmont, Fla.; two nieces, Leta McNally, Chillicothe, Mo., and Myrtle Brennaman, Brookfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a step-son and her parents.
Services will be at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Mo., on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo., on Sunday March 15, 2009 from 12 to 3 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
