Paul N. Quinn, 70, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning (December 27, 1995) at the Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

The son of Raymond Joseph and Irene (Loft) Quinn he was born May 10, 1925 in Adair County, Missouri. On June 25, 1945 in Troy, Kansas he was united in marriage to Corrine Phelps who survives.

Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Vanessa Quinn of Bettendorf, Iowa; two granddaughters, Sherry Quinn and Misty Quinn both of Bettendorf, Iowa; one great-grandson, Taylor Quinn of Bettendorf, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Quinn.

Paul received his education and graduated from the Brashear High School in 1943. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. After serving in the war he lived in the quad cities for forty years where he was employed as an insurance salesman. He then moved to Columbia, Missouri, where he lived for a few years before moving to Kirksville, Missouri in 1987 to make his home.

He was a member of the Knights Of Columbus and was past commander of the American Legion Post #246.

Paul was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Kirksville, Missouri.

A funeral mass will be held at eleven o'clock Friday morning (December 29, 1995) at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Kirksville, Missouri. Father David Maher will officiate the service. Music will be provided by the Chaplin Family. Burial will be held in the Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery in Kirksville, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Joe Phelps, Timmy Phelps, Mike Phelps, Mark Phelps, C.R. Quinn and Bob Russell.

Visitation is in progress at the Travis Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville and the family will receive friends from six to eight o'clock this evening, Thursday (December 28, 1995). A Rosary service will be officiated by Tim McEvoy at seven o'clock this evening in the chapel of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Corrine (Phelps) Quinn, 75, formerly of Kirksville, passed away Monday (Sept. 22, 2003) at her home in Davenport, Iowa.

The daughter of Jess and Pearl (Wilson) Phelps, she was born Nov. 18, 1927, near Gibbs, Mo.

On June 25, 1945, she married Paul Quinn, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1995.

She is survived by one son, Terry Quinn of Davenport; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers; two sisters and one grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 25, 1003) in the Mary Immaculate section of Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
