IDA A. STOBER
Ida A. Stober, 94 of Kirksville, died Thursday, May 13, 1982 at the Kirksville Osteopathic Health Center where she had been a patient for seven days.
Born Dec. 10, 1887, near La Plata, Missouri, she was the daughter of Tommy and Martha (Maze) Gross.
On Dec. 25, 1907, she married Jesse Franklin Stober who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were three sons in infancy; one daughter, Sylvia Minnix; one brother, Jay Gross; four sisters, Minnie Gross, LaVara Webber, Dell Webber, and Ruth Clem; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Surviving are four sons, Chick and Hollis Stober, both of California, Wayne Stober of Detroit, Michigan, and James Stober of Kirksville; one daughter, Martha Dudley of Kirksville; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stober was a member of the Hamilton Street Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Golden Agers.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 16, 1982 at the chapel of the Foster-Fohn Memorial Home.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
