MRS. ED WALTERS DIES HERE AT AGE OF 49

Had Been In Failing Health 2 Yers; Once Lived In Gibbs

Mrs. Daisy A. Walters, 49 years old, died at her home, 416 East McPherson street, about 11:55 a.m. yesterday. She had been in failing health for about two years, and death was due to heart trouble.

No arrangements for the funeral will be made until relatives in the West are heard from.

Mrs. Walters is survived by her husband, Former County Collector Ed F. Walters, and four children, Bonnie, McClelland, Hollis and Kathleen, all living at home. She is also survived by her father, B.W. Young, of Gibbs; six brothers, W.H. Young, of Gibbs, S.E. Young, of Eckert, Colo., T.M. Young, of Gibbs, J.B. Young, of Rupert, Ida., Homer Young, of Delta, Colo., and Paul Young, of Eckert, Colo; also four sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Davidson, of Kirksville, Mrs. Anna Calef, of LaPlata, Mrs. Bessie McKee, of Delta, Colo., and Mrs. Gail Patton, of Limon, Colo.

The Walters family has lived in Kirksville for the past seven years, having moved here from Gibbs. Mrs. Walters was a member of the First M.E. Church. She has many friends here, who will sympathize with the family in their bereavement.

Mrs. Ed F. Walters Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday

The funeral for Mrs. Ed F. Walters, who died here Saturday, will be held from the home, 416 East McPherson street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted by the Rev. E.V. DuBois, pastor of the First M.E. church. Interment will be in the Highland Park cemetery.
