SERVICES FOR HURDLAND LADY

Mrs. Sarah Naylor, 93, Burial Was Tuesday Afternoon

Mrs. Sarah Naylor, 93 years old and for 53 years a resident of Hurdland, died at her home there at 4:30 o’cl Monday morning after an illness of only a few days, she having become ill suddenly about 5:30 o’clock Friday evening.

Funeral Services at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Easley Funeral Home in Hurdland were conducted by the Rev. Martin Cross. Burial was in Paultown Cemetery near Hurdland.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Libbie A. Hunter, of Orange, Calif., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a great great- grandchild.

Mrs. Naylor, who was born May 31, 1853, near Canton, Ohio, was a Daughter of Jesse and Martha Bolton Hall, who moved, when she was a small child, to Missouri, locating near Kirksville, where she grew to womanhood. She was married December 2, 1869, to Thomas Eagle Naylor, who died in 1891. A son, Thomas Milton Naylor, died April 30, 1931.

Years ago Mrs. Naylor united with the United Brethren Church northwest of Brashear, which at that time was known as the Salt River United Brethren Church.
