J. A. PINKERTON, 66, DIED HERE SATURDAY NIGHT FEBRUARY 11. Funeral Services To Be Held Tuesday Morning 1946.
Funeral Services will be held at the Dee Riley Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 11:00 o’clock conducted by Rev. F. P. Hanes, pastor of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in Pinkerton Cemetery.
Mr. Pinkerton was the son of Samuel W. and Emily (Slover) Pinkerton and was born in Adair County March 18, 1879. He was married to Nellie E. Moss in Kirksville on December 19, 1900 and to this marriage two sons were born.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Elmer of Novinger, Route 1, and Derrell, of Kirksville; two brothers William Pinkerton, of Arnette, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Minerva Chadwell, of Oswego, NY., Mrs. Nannie Linder, of Novinger and Mrs. Rosie Robinson, of Higgins, Tex., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one grandchild.
The body will be in state at the Dee Riley Funeral Home.
The pallbearers will be Carl, Oran and Russell Linder, Albert Rash, Gale and George Zeigler.
