Geo. W Cassady died Friday of cancer of the stomach aged 60 years, 4 months and 17 days. He enlisted in 1861 in the 18th Mo. and served during the war, he was one among the best soldiers — always ready for duty. He leaves a wife, seven children, an aged mother, five sisters and three brothers to mourn his loss. Rev. McFarlin conducted the Services. The remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Home cemetery Saturday.
