BUFFALO - George W. Patten, 80, Buffalo, Mo., died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 1995, in his home.

A retired merchant and trucker, he had operated the Foose Store for many years. He was a member of High Prairie Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ione; four daughters, Reba Jean Lilley, Oklahoma City, Okla., Anita Ruth Hill, Strafford, Margy McCurry, Salem, Ore., and Marilyn Ann Bird, Moore, Okla.; four step-children, Gary Hargus, Pittsburg, N.J., Vernon Efton Hargus and Larry Hargus, both of Marionville, and Geneva Lackey, Aurora; a brother, Beech Patten, Buffalo; two sisters, Lena Dull, Liberty, and Mildred Norman, Stockton; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, in Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Lilley officiating. Burial will be in Church Grove Cemetery, south of Buffalo.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

MRS. GEORGE PATTEN

BUFFALO - Services for Mrs. Irene Patten, 62, Route 3, Buffalo, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the High Prairie Christian Church with the Rev. C.C. Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Church Grove Cemetery under direction of Montgomery of Buffalo.

Mrs. Patten died at 12:15 a.m. Monday at her home after an illness of several months.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8- p.m. today.
