Mrs. Elizabeth L. Liles, 92, of Steele, Mo., died Thursday, July 2, 1992, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Blytheville, Ark. after a long illness.
The widow of Julius P. Liles, she was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caruthersville and had lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Liles leaves two sons: Roy C. Liles of Haines City, Fla. and Max Liles of Clinton, Tenn.; One daughter, Mrs. Grace Gray, of Steele; A brother, Charles Frazer of Howell, Mich.; Four sisters, Irene Rhodes of Mt. Vernon, Mo., Margaret Edington and Mary Kilburn of Hermondale, Mo. and Barbara Melton of Fairfield Bay, Ark. and Many grandchildren and great-granchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary services were held Saturday, July 4, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Number Eight Cemetery near Cooter, Mo.

Julius P. Liles, age 96, a resident of Rt. 1, Steele, died Monday, June 3, at River Oaks Nursing Home. He was born in Clifton, Tenn., and was a Roman Catholic.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Frazer Liles of the home; two sons, Roy Liles of Florida and Max Liles of Clinton, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Gray of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Willie Fulcher of Gibson, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were last Thursday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, Blytheville, with the Rev. Conan Mawhorr officiating. Burial was in Number Eight Cemetery at Cooter.
