Son of Calvin and and Mary Jane Nail Cloud
Legend has it that Calvin and Mary raised Alf from age 11 to 17. Alf was later killed and decapitated near Forsyth, Taney County, and his head was taken to Ozark, MO. His body was buried near Forsyth. Jane rode her horse all the way from near Hootentown, Stone County, to Ozark to identify his head to confirm it was indeed Alf Bolin.
