Christian County Republican, Ozark, Christian Co., Missouri:
Walter L. Todd aged 73 years 6 months died at his home in Ozark about 9 o'clock Wednesday night. Funeral services will be held at his home about 1:30 this afternoon with burial under direction of the Ozark Undertaking Co. in the Linden cemetery. Mr. Todd was an old well known resident, having lived in the county some 40 years and in Ozark 14 years. He was a civil war veteran, having enlisted in the Union army when 15 years of age. Mr. Todd had been in poor health for some time, but able to be out most of the time, having visited with friends in Springfield only last week, but was suddenly taken worse Monday evening from which he never rallied. Mr. Todd leaves no immediate relatives in this county, his wife having died the 16th of June last year. An adopted son, Albert Cameron and wife have been here for some time living at the home and caring for Mr. Todd.
