SPARTA- Services for Bert L. Fowler, 95, Route 1, Sparta, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Harris Chapel, Ozark, with the Rev. Clinton L. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler died at 6:25 p.m. Friday in Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, after a long illness.
A lifelong resident of the McCracken community, he was a retired farmer and barber and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Garrison, Sparta; a niece raised in the home, Mrs. Mable Hilton, Ozark; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 4 to 5 p.m. today.
