Elizabeth Jean Porch, 66, Independence, died Feb. 19, 1993, at Truman Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Independence; burial in Mount Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Carson Independence Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Porch was born in Clifton City, Mo., and moved to Independence 34 years ago. She was a secretary for the psychology department of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was a member of the Widows Club of the George T. Sermon Center. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Dianne York, Independence; a brother, John August Dove Jr., Blue Springs; and two grandchildren.
