Margerie Cora Greene, 87, of Noel, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at her residence in Noel. She was born on July 9, 1929, in El Monte, Calif., to the late George and Lilly Mae Schon.

She grew up in Baker City, Ore., and graduated from Baker High School. She married Donald Greene on May 30, 1973, in McDonald County, Mo. She enjoyed music, books and computer games. She attended the Mill Creek Baptist Church in Noel. She loved visiting with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Greene in February 2000; and two daughters, Donna Rae Crosby and Carman Warnaca.

She is survived by her son, Herbert R. Crosby of Gravette, Ark.; son-in-law, Philip Warnaca of Neosho, Mo.; grandchildren, Karla Glass and husband James, and Ira Warnaca and wife Colleen;
great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Paige Glass and Alex Warnaca; and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at the Petty Cemetery in Noel. Karla Glass officiated.

Arrangements were under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel.
