Graveside services for John L Roy, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Roy passed away at 11:55 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Brooke Haven HealthCare, West Plains. He was born February 10, 1933 in Oregon County, Missouri to Lovell Roy and Roxie Storms Roy. Mr. Roy enjoyed the outdoors and liked to visit his grandkids. He always had coffee and his favorite saying was “you all play purdy”. He loved his children.
He is survived by his special friend, Pat; four children, Jerry Roy and spouse, Cindy, Raleigh, North Carolina, Jeffrey Roy and spouse, Kathy, Joplin, Missouri, Angela Mason and spouse, John, Centerton, Arkansas and Roy Collins and spouse, Vibe, Hammond, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Dallas Roy, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Joann Brown, St. Louis, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
His parent, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
