Funeral services for George "Bud" Harvey Corman, Jr., 83, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at the Pomona Christian Church in Pomona, Missouri, on Thursday, November 1 at 1:00pm, with Pastors Marcus Allen and Josh Holesapple officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
He was born the son of the late George Harvey Corman, Sr. and Julia Curtis Corman, on December 8, 1928 in Montrose, Colorado and died October 26, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
He was united in marriage March 18, 1950 in Willow Springs, Missouri to Mary Jo Bryan.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Bryan Corman, of the home, Pomona, Missouri; two sons, Randy Corman and wife, Tracey, Chesapeake, Virginia; Steve Corman and wife, Teresa, Willow Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Chad Corman and wife, Tracy, Chesapeake, Virginia, Amanda Corman, Washington D.C., Dalton Corman and wife, Megan, Willow Springs, Missouri, and Cody Corman and wife, Tabitha, Pomona, Missouri; nine great grandchildren, Joshua and Mason Corman, Willow Springs, Missouri; Colton, Taylor, Madison, and Hunter Corman, Chesapeake, Virginia; Bailey, Tyler, McKala Sprague, Pomona, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lucille LeFrancois, and three brothers, Bryce, Clair, and Loren Corman.
He was a member of the Pomona Christian Church, Pomona, Missouri. He was a heavy equipment operator for over thirty years on road construction.He also was a cattle farmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth group at Pomona Christian Church and can be left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missourui, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. [ozarkareanetwork.com]
Funeral services for Mary Jo Corman, 90, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at the Pomona Christian Church in Pomona, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Marcus Allen officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Wayne and Jessie May Bryan, on July 3, 1930 in Pomona, Missouri and died October 21, 2020 in Willow Springs, Missouri.
She was united in marriage March 18, 1950 in Willow Springs, Missouri to G. H. “Bud” Corman.
She is survived by her two sons, Randy Corman and wife, Tracey, Virginia; Steve Corman and wife, Teresa, Willow Springs, Missouri; one sister, Betty Adams and husband, Fred, Kansas City, Missouri; one brother Ronnie Bryan and wife, Bonnie, Pomona, Missouri; three grandchildren, Chad Corman, Virginia, Amanda Corman, North Carolina, and Cody Corman and wife, Tabitha, Pomona, Missouri; eight great grandchildren, Joshua and Mason Corman, Willow Springs, Missouri; Colton, Taylor, Madison, and Hunter Corman, Virginia; Bailey, Tyler, McKala Sprague, Pomona, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Glenn Bryan and grandson Dalton Corman.
She was a member of the Pomona Christian Church, Pomona, Missouri. Jo loved to hunt and fish. She took care of the farm, canned out of the garden, and was always at the corral on cattle working days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth group at Pomona Christian Church and can be left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri.
