Billie Gean Carter, Age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, in her home surrounded by family. She was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Thomasville, Mo., to Jesse and Helen Parrott.
Billie was married to Cyrus Rodney Carter Sr. on March 8, 1957, also Cyrus' birthday, at Lost Camp Baptist Church. To this union five children were born: Samantha Lea McClean, Cyrus Rodney Carter Jr., Blieuanda Gean Foster, Dolly Lowetta King and Cecil Randolph Carter.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Helen Parrott, husband Cyrus Carter Sr., and son Cecil Carter.

Home, Ark., and son, John Campbell and wife Ivy of Bishop, Ga.; 13 grandkids and a whole passel of great-grandkids.
Billie was an avid quilter and jigsaw puzzle solver. There was always a puzzle working on the dining room table. Dining room at Billie's did not mean "eating" it mean "Jigsaw puzzling." That was not to say that there wasn't a lot of eating going on there, she thoroughly loved the family gathering at her house to eat and tried keeping every ones' favorite things.
Billie was a true lover of nature. She could find beauty in every little piece of it from rocks to flowers, trees, plants and all form of animal life.
Billie was truly enjoying attending church on Sundays and going to lunch after church. Billie will be dearly missed by family and friends but those who were close to her knows that she is with Cyrus once again and just like Alan Jackson's song says, "They are strolling across heaven together."
