Raymond O. Mahurin
WHEATON, Mo. --- Raymond O. "Bill" Mahurin, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2001. He was a sawmill operator.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Wheaton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chitwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home

DORIS E. MAHURIN
Doris E. Mahurin, age 91, of Rocky Comfort, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Bentonview Park Health and Rehabilitation in Monett. Mrs. Mahurin, daughter of Aud and Daisy Creason Harrell, was born on September 7, 1927, on the family farm in Rocky Comfort. She was happily married to Raymond Mahurin for sixty-one years; he preceded her in death on May 8, 2001. Mrs. Mahurin loved her family dearly and spent all the time she could with each of them by cooking and having family gatherings. She always had a smile on her face and everyone who met her could feel the love and compassion she had for others. Mrs. Mahurin was a member of the Ridgley Assembly of God church.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Mahurin and his wife, Wilda, of Glasgow, Kentucky, Jack Mahurin and his wife Alice of Rocky Comfort, and Billy Mahurin, of Fairview; four daughters, Donna Erickson and her husband David, of aurora, Carolyn Riley of Spencer, Iowa, Jeanie Wrinkle, of Monett, and Janice Becker and her husband, Pul, of Crocker, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willis Harrell, of Rocky Comfort, and Don Harrell, of Iowa; one sister, Delma Ellis, of Washburn; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Danny Mahurin; and one daughter, Vana Mahurin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the White Funeral Home and crematory, Cassville, with Mike Mahurin officiating; burial to follow at Chitwood Cemetery in Wheaton. The family will receive from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse International Relief and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
