Betty Watkins Pitcock was born Jan. 31, 1953. She entered into eternal rest Aug. 11, 2021. She was born the daughter of Alfred and Gertude Shelton Watkins.
On Mar. 31,1972 she was married at Rover, Missouri to Frank Pitcock. To this union two kids were born, Brent and Travis.
Betty is survived by her husband Frank, West Plains, her mother in law, Jennie Pitcock and 2 sons Brent (Diana) of West Plains, Missouri, Travis (Nellie) of Laquey, Missouri; five grandkids, Zachary Sullivan, Bowling Green, Missouri, Dillion Pitcock and wife Alexis of Republic, Missouri, Haley Pitcock and significant other Jacob Callahan of Pottersville, Missouri, Hayley Bales and significant other Daniel Sapp of Laquey, Missouri, Dustyn Pitcock of West Plains, Missouri and one
great granddaughter Kaitlyn Callahan; one sister Bonnie Myers of Braidwood, Illinois and several neices and nephews.
Betty worked for 45 years at what became known as Invensys. She was always by her husband's side and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Beula Stavro; eight brothers, Seb, Bob, Chet, Elwin, Ted, Don, Duane and Harley Watkins.
Funeral services tor Betty Watkins Pitcock will be held Sunday August 15 at 2:00 p.m., at the Curry Street Church of Christ in West Plains, with Brother Hank Lawrence officiating.
The family will receive their friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, August 14 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
